GT Silicon Pvt Ltd produces and markets high-performance wearable motion sensor platforms (IMUs), under their brand Inertial Elements. Their sensors are used for a variety of indoor Location Based Services (LBS) and IoT applications based on foot-mounted inertial sensing. Warehouse management, augmented reality, first responders' safety, gait analysis, geo-survey, robotics, indoor positioning, cognitive sciences etc are some of the applications of such foot mounted sensors. The technology is jointly developed with their R&D partner KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden - a leading European University. Since the launch of their products, they have acquired customers in 18 countries. They have received the prestigious DST-Lockheed Martin India Innovation Award (IIGP) 2015 and featured in the Top 10 Promising Start-ups at CII Industrial Innovation Awards 2015.
